Easter and the White House

Thanks to John, who braved a night's wait for tickets to the Easter Egg Roll at the White House, Sydney was able to see where the "Easter Bunny" lived. We had a great time rolling, hunting, and throwing (Sydney's own version of a game) eggs within 10 feet of the White House. Sydney gave out more loves than she has ever given to her poor parents. I suppose we should have known and bought ourselves large fake animal costumes. She loved every minute of meeting her favorite friends, Clifford, Super Why and every easter bunny around. Holden was a dream and slept through the event ( poor soul, we'll just have to tell him he was there when he's older). It was a great day and we are very grateful to have spent the last 4 years in DC.
